New to #amateurradio and freshly licensed since april 2024. I'm here for the #hamradio content and to meet other people in the #amateurradio field. I'm from #germany and a full time #pentester and also a fan of #draussenfunker.

After photo shooting in a local park today, I'm happy to announce the official start of my new project website!

https://draussenfuchs.de/

It covers all about my ISM fox search/ARDF project.

It's still "beta" (if that is still a thing) and will be improved over time. Especially the Yagi build-instructions are still missing.

But, yeah, it's officially online now. Whoohoo!

It's German only. So you might want to use your favored translator.

If you are looking for a #hamradio #LoggingSoftware, I can highly recommend #QLog! I have it in use since a half year and it meets all basic needs! Synchronization to QRZ.com, LoTW, eQSL and more, Rig- and Rotor-Control, Cluster and much more! Give it a try! It runs on Windows and Linux, isn't that nice?

Yesterday I did my first #pota activation in the park DE-0297 (https://pota.app/#/park/DE-0297). It was a bit tough - I got my 10 QSOs together in 1h and 35min, just before the rain came. But it was really fun! Further park activations will definitely be made.

Let the #cw games begin - on the way to learning #cw! It is pretty fun so far.
After one month with my amateur radio license, the #xiegu #G90 and the #draussenfunker telescope vertical antenna a short update: I have discovered the best, most fun and most interesting hobby for me ever! The #G90 is running great and I'm super happy with the operation and everything else! I am also totally enthusiastic about the #draussenfunker vertical antenna! It's quick and easy to make and set up. I'm looking forward to what's still to come and to all the upcoming contacts!
First successful test yesterday of the #draussenfunker vertical antenna. Got some very interesting stations in the log. I really enjoyed it!
