Now, Jacobs Wells Baths, a building that holds within its walls a wealth of architectural and social heritage, has an opportunity to become a thriving community space once again.
1/3 We are the guardians of the Trinity Centre, enabled through a Community Asset Transfer process. Trinity remains, however, within the ownership of the people of Bristol. Since '04 we have invested nearly £3mil into repairing & conserving Trinity, a Grade II* Listed Building.
We now welcome over 72k people a yr across a vibrant programme of community, arts and music.
“I think it is really important that Bristol should have more of these spaces so the arts can flourish & nourish us all because that is what they do”
#MiriamMargolyes, calls for Bristol to save #JacobsWellsBaths, because “the Arts are the soul of a nation”.
Now listed for disposal by Bristol City Council the future of the publicly owned building is at risk.
