I'm a computer science student, web developer, and small-city journalist who really doesn't have enough time.

I am absolutely a follow-back boy.

Twitter is now an insecure platform, haemmorhaging security experts. It could haemmorhage your DMs, through leak or sale.
It's no hard guarantee, but your best chance to delete them is with is with #GDPR rights. I've written a blog on how:

Deleting DMs from Twitter using the GDPR

Twitter is falling apart at the seams. You might want to do your best to ensure your DMs don't end up in the wrong hands.

so obviously i'm sad twitter died, mainly because i got a lot of my indexing jobs that way, so if you need to have a book indexed, hire me! (please reblog this academics)

One thing that's getting a little lost in this mix, is that some of the people desperately holding on at Twitter are because they are trapped by either healthcare or visas.

That there are systemic traps that trap workers in America so they feel unable to move freely to new employers who want them and would have better pay or conditions is *nuts* and deserves a lot more attention than it gets.

I'm transitioning from VSCode to Vim and I have no idea how to do a single damned thing.

I'm an older, (older than a lot of people learning to program, at least), guy and, while I enjoy coding I'm looking for something a little deeper when I actually (hopefully) start working.

I don't know what that is, but I listened to a podcast that made me think about the prominent web developers and web designers I look up to. They're people who are not only capable and smart but also seem to have a stronger guiding principle in their work.

I'm going to have to write about it soon.

More #WebMentions testing.

Let's just add one more reply, and maybe a favorite to see how the data looks.
