With all that said, I still don't _trust_ these models, not for anything that matters. Silly little personal projects shared between friends don't matter.

That virtual framebuffer has been a real game-changer.

Still very new to gamedev, and debugging scaling issues between resolutions is still tricky for me. CSS skills only transfer so well.

CC's been able to launch the UI at various resolutions, read screenshots into the chat context, and tweak the scaling code to get it to match the reference 1080p vision I've dumped in.

Been playing around with Godot for a bit, building a dorky little snake minigame to share with my friends

Ran into a first-load perf issue, before shader and related caches built; sSubsequent loads were near instant.

Gotta say, Claude Code has been doing impressive work digging into the issue.

Had best luck after I vendor'd in the godot editor binary, along with some utils for the bot to use with a virtual framebuffer.

@ablaze it really is amazing, though. Modern software can barely run on the beefiest of rigs without lagging.

Back then, my Pentium 4 shitbox could handle most anything, and that was with a spinning rust drive.

@ablaze it’s the lack of cardboard. Software from a box had to be good the first time.
@alpenglow @ArchiteuthisFlux Van Halen’s might as well jumpboards

Edit: I do not want a mobile app, I am specifically looking for desktop solutions.

Fediverse: anyone know of any web-based tools that help you automatically create a thread for mastodon, including image upload and alt text? I just tried splinter which looks rad, but image upload appears to be broken (Windows 11, tried Firefox and Chrome). I guess a downloadable for Windows would be OK too. #fedihelp

@ArchiteuthisFlux I swear, they played that episode every day after it came out. It’s up there with the reef blower and new spatula episodes, easily.
