Does anyone know what kind of connector the square one to the left is?
This is a Märklin 24089 infrared track, and this connector is used to power accessories. I expect this to contain the track power and some voltages and would like to make my own accessories, but for this I need to be able to order such connectors.

When was the last time you visited a collection page of an e-commerce site and read the lengthy text in its footer?

No one reads them, yet SEO experts insist that this information is valuable to users.

Who do I report a Google Rich Results Testing Tool bug to? As of this morning, the tool shows an error when merchantReturnLink is present saying it’s missing the URL. But URL isn’t a required field and not documented in schema or Googles docs. https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result?id=KSClbf6jQQzVuBaSlrzB8Q
@rrlevering are you the right person?
Thanks @tonymccreath for your help to confirm the issue.

Woohoo, I'm speaking at Friends of Search on March 13th, 2025!

https://friendsofsearch.com/nl/speakers/program/structured-data-a-deep-dive-into-its-history-myths-and-future/

I have been to this event many times over the last decade but never did I imagine I would get to speak there. It means the world to me.

If you have even the slightest interest in schema markup, oh boy, do I have a current topic for you: The history, myths, and future of structured data markup.

Will I see you there?

The 2024 Web Almanac

The Web Almanac is an annual state of the web report combining the expertise of the web community with the data and trends of the HTTP Archive.

We've released a v5 Release Candidate (5.0.0-rc.0) of the web-vitals library with some breaking changes you might want to be aware of:

- No more onFID() (as per https://web.dev/blog/fid)
- Our builds will only support Baseline Widely Available (leads to smaller builds)
- Sorted class lists in attribution build to help deduplicate selectors going forward (but may lead to some duplicate selectors during change over).

Plus some bug fixes.

Happy to take any questions!
