While working on some product variant markup I noticed the Rich Results Test was showing errors because the variants don't have images of their own.

Shouldn't these be inherited from the ProductGroup @rrlevering ?

Seems a bit verbose to add the same images to all the variants if these don't have images of their own.

We're good to go folks - Product variant markup now generates Rich Results, including:
- aggregate rating (reviews)
- price range
- item availability

It's safe to start making the switch from schema.org/Product to schema.org/ProductGroup for all your product variants, you won't lose your Rich Results.

After 11 years http://schema.org's UI is getting a refresh!
