So, I finally read The Verge's latest take on SEO. It, like perhaps much of the industry itself, focuses too much on "keywords." If what you're writing is because of what a keyword tool tells you to, then your heart and mind won't be into your content. And if your heart and mind aren't into your content, then neither will your readers be. And that's not... helpful.
Have to admit, I've never even thought about downvotes or downvoting. Apparently, my comment about how helpful content is accomplished through hard work -- like pretty much all successful endeavors -- triggered a number of people who seemingly would prefer to point fingers than focus on fixing content.

Pretty satisfying when
@Ranktify customers are ranking (after just a month or so) in the Top Three search results -- and often Number 1 -- for highly competitive queries.
Running a company -- particularly with never-before-seen software and teams in different time zones -- can have its challenges, but it's days like yesterday and today that make it worth it. We onboarded a slew of new users at Ranktify.com, and we can't wait to see them succeed!
