When they issued brains I was absent and when my ship came in I was at the airport. Sent down from University of life as a failure. Prefer not to wake up next day. Have Aspergers. Sunset at Gosford waterfront

@boiga

I'm sending this to those I thought might be interested, you among them, I hope that's alright!

I've just been guest on the podcast that hosted an eminent autism researcher, of the old school - Uta Frith.

In the fourth episode of Let’s Talk Neurosense, we talked to Katy Elphinstone, autistic advocate, researcher and author of How to Raise Happy Neurofabulous Children: A Parent’s Guide.

Let's Talk Neurosense: the Psychology of Neurodiversity

Very sunny morning.

#dogsofmastodon warm walks and a pretty sunset set this weekend
#dogsofmastodon Smudge who has been diagnosed with Spinal Canal Stenosis has now developed Cushings Disease as a result of steroids!! The treatment of one has led to another and it will take 3-6 months for the steroids to work out of his system by which time his pain may have become too severe - his QOL comes tops always. Finally got him groomed after 3.5 months - too much discomfort previously.
Before and after - we have a new dog!!

Posting on Bella's behalf:

Free to a good home, adult human.
Female. Desexed. Vaccinated.
Reluctant rehoming due to behavioural issues, namely preventing a very good and clever dog from rolling in fox shit on no less than four occasions on today's walk.
Also a bit stingy with the treats.

The Dutch version of the BBC (very simply put) has started consistently stating in every article about Trump that he has a history of lying and saying nonsense. It's really satisfying.

"President Trump, who often lies, said that..."

It's a small thing, but it cheers me up.

For the victims.

My @smh @theage cartoon.

It’s Wednesday and that means it’s time for Defend Public Health’s Whopper of the Week! This week we take on RFK Jr.’s claims that Lyme Disease is a bioweapon. Hint: it’s not.

Whopper of the Week: Lyme dise...
Whopper of the Week: Lyme disease is Not a Bioweapon | Defend Public Health

RFK baselessly claimed that Lyme Disease “is highly likely to have been a military weapon,” adding, “we also know they were experimenting with diseases of the kind, like Lyme disease, at that lab [Plum Island], and putting them in ticks and then infecting people, testing them with bird vectors…" There is no evidence that Lyme disease was ever a research topic at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center, let alone a bioweapon.

#dogsofmastodon Smudge recently diagnosed with Spinal Canal Stenosis - in a lot of discomfort and not sure the medication is doing any good at all - very very hard at the moment. Can’t bear to see the little man suffering

Went to the local animal hospital to pick up some meds. Got a nice shot of Penny and Leo.
