New Sturgill Simpson (Johnny Blue Skies) album is incredible. I love how political he gets as well as the overall country disco dance vibe.

'Make America Fuk Again’ indeed. Rolling Stone magazine: "it’s a song for Trans Am stereos and shag-carpeted bedrooms, mixing mirror-ball nostalgia with rough-edged roadhouse country-rock.”

Flea’s love of music is infectious and he’s able to articulate it well.

I’m very excited to learn that 3/4 of the Jeff Parker ETA IVtet is on Flea’s upcoming album.

Completely blown away by the Amy Sherald show at the Baltimore Museum of Art. I left feeling hopeful and inspired.

If you have a chance, you must see her work in person.

A year ago I wrote my big post about music apps (streaming and personal libraries), and I’ve spent the last few days updating a lot of it.

I’ve also been trialling the combination of Roon + Qobuz, which I’ve really liked. Still on the fence with that one.
