Africa now leading global solar growth: 2026 outlook report
Africa leads global solar growth with a 26% increase in capacity, reaching 23.4 GW in 2025. Improved storage and reduced costs drive this expansion, outpacing China and the Middle East. The continent now commands 3% of the global solar market, highlighting its significant role in renewable energy.
EU und EBWE fördern in vielen Regionen ( wie Westbalkan, Nordafrika u.a.) die Entwicklung umweltfreundlicher und fairer Wertschöpfungsketten in Unternehmen. Vorteil sowohl in der Region durch höhere Standards und Vorteile für die Wirtschaft , als auch global für internationale Nachhaltigkeitsziele. Guter und hoffentlich erfolgreicher Ansatz auf dem man aufbauen kann.
