When possible, I do things in nature. Quite often I am not in nature. There's probably some sort of balance to that.

Toddler at home so erratic everyday, have great plans to maybe post updates from various DIY projects that move forward very calmly. Equally likely to upload nature photos as to forget.

Will get into conversations about things I know something of, but tend to keep to myself, so to speak, as a lot of people already either know a lot or think they do on the great interwebs.

@jon This maintenance was unplanned though, probably something that broke or a minor landslide. Temperatures are rising and the soil starts to move. Unclear why they closed such a long stretch of track.
@jon Torino - Bardonecchia was closed this weekend after Bussoleno (went there skiing today). Still, a long way from today to June..
@b23e Thanks :) I've gotten incredible feedback and plenty of options from various people here, so now I just need to sit down and compare things! Soon enough there'll be a bit less of a contribution to our capitalist overlords from my end ❤️
@pho4cexa Very late to the party, but was told by a prepper friend living by the sea that it more or less only works for potatoes. Even pasta gets too salty, apparently. Also a good idea to check pollution levels of your specific body of water, plenty of nasty junk from ships even when they're not leaking 🙄
@sigsegv That is, at the moment I know much too little about static/dynamic websites to say if a media query works. Just got back to website programming after a fifteen year hiatus so am, to say the least, a bit rusty..
@sigsegv Hm, I'm thinking static is fine but do have some dynamic features that changes the website layout based on browser resolution, in order to make it work both on mobile and desktop alike. Not sure where the line is drawn and all articles I find are way too long, so that'll be for another day 🙃
@too_little_caffeine I can imagine, tit for tat and all that :/

@too_little_caffeine Not necessarily. Might be easier to have a single solution, and often package deals save money, but keeping things separate does have its advantages as well. Thanks for the tip!

Also, I lived in Cork for five years, if you have the chance I'd highly recommend living your expat dreams :)

@tim @netcup Thanks, will have a look!
