What the HELL is going on?

A Paris based friend asked me why friends of hers from Milano could not get trains on 6th June Milano-Paris

On Sat 6th: no trains
On 4th and 5th: only trains in the afternoons

And both Torino-Bardonecchia AND Modane-Chambéry have regional trains running normally
