This whole Twitter blow up of new policies, re-introduction of accounts that don't align to my morals/ideals, and general buffoonery is wild. If it goes down burning, it may just push me out of social media. I'm here on 🦣 but maybe it would be a catalyst to disappear into the ether for me...who knows.

Hi! My name is Maíra and I am program manager at Microsoft. I’m responsible for dot.net and I’m one of the hosts of On .NET Live. I’ve been at Microsoft for ~14 years and have worked for 20+ years in tech. I had several different roles throughout the years.
In my personal life, I’m married with 2 boys who I love so much. We’re a football family and big Seahawks fans. We moved to CA 2 years ago and I’m loving to play beach volleyball and beach tennis. I’m originally from Brazil!

I've been seeing these, so I figured I'd add my #introduction.

Hey all, I'm a Software Architect at Microsoft that works on .NET. I've been in the industry and at Microsoft for 14 years and have built popular open-source tools and frameworks like NuGet, SignalR, ASP.NET Core.

My wife and I are from Barbados 🇧🇧 (the land of Rihanna) and have 2 kids. I'm also an avid Tennis player and fan.

Looking forward to meeting people on this platform.
