One more Dog photo. I happened to catch Henry and Bella looking out the front window yesterday. This is Henry's perch. What makes this special for me is our foster Bella is sitting alongside him looking at whatever got their attention.
That's not alway the case as Bella has a 4 week old puppy here with her and can be snarky to Henry who just wants to play.

Got to hold the new Nikon Z8 for a few min last evening at an event put on by Mike’s Camera here. And have the hat to prove it. Not sure why I didn’t take any phone shots of it. Dummy.
Felt good, wasn’t quite as big as I expected which is also good.
Besides a Nikon rep there was a pro photographer who did a vid of him using the Z8 in Utah. Talked through his actual experiences. Was great. his name is Mike Mezeul II.

Been a bit since I put anything here. So what could be better than a dog photo?!
This is Bella. She and her now 4 week old pup are staying with us while she recovers from some surgery and the pup gets bigger. Both will be able to be adopted at some point from the Aurora Colorado Animal Shelter.

Well, It's now May 10, 2023 and the mythical Z8 is now real and publicized today. It took about 3-5 min into Nikon's launch vid to pre-order from B&H.
Maybe I can rent it out to recover some of the price? 😂

I saw something earlier with a tag of DarkSky week or some such. I don't think this is what the tag meant but I've always really liked this photo. Both B&W and "color".

On the road in front of Sarasota beach in 2016. The beach and ocean are just beyond the lights. Can you hear the waves?

Saw that VW is unveiling the ID7 today. Seems to be a Passat as an EV.
I had a Passat TDI diesel 8-9 years ago. Loved it. Probably would still have it if not for diesel gate and a really good buy-back deal.
Have thought about going electric for a couple years. had an ID4 on order for 10 months and bailed. Maybe a Bolt?? .
This might do it. Not in the US till 2024 and availability will probably really stink so not holding my breath.

This is where You Tube sometimes really shines by showing me something I didn't know I'd really want to see. Such an excellent rendition of White Rabbit by a group I'd never heard before. I may be up to my 5th or 6th replay.

This is from 2018 in St Mark's Square / Piazza San Marco, in Venice Italy.
Wandering around in the evening stopped to watch and listen to these musicians. They were having fun. And had a good crowd watching.
