Regardless you you feel about the moral, ethical, or political arguments, it's clear that a YES vote on the #Voice to Parliament is the only one backed by any basis in fact

We gave the Voice to Parliament pamphlets to fact checkers. Here's what they said

We gave the Yes and No pamphlets for the Voice to fact-checkers. This is what they came back with.

What can you say with your deep-pocketed media owners and managers breathing down your neck, when they have everything invested in maintaining the status quo and when they have thick ties to the deep-pocketed owners of the petrochemical industry?

Molly Taft points out that the media have no idea how to cover extreme heat.

This is, of course, correct. How can you possibly both-sides this story? And if you refuse to give up your both-sideism, what can you say, honestly, about the dire situation we now face globally due to ecological crisis?

The Media Has No Idea How to Cover Extreme Heat

News outlets are reporting on record-setting temperatures—but telling us little else about this catastrophic inferno we’re living (and dying) through.

Remember all those full-page ads from gas companies about their commitment to green energy and how BP stood for “beyond petroleum” and stuff?

You might want to be sitting down. I have a big shocker for you. It was all a bunch of BS.

Big oil quietly walks back on climate pledges as global heat records tumble

Energy firms have made record profits by increasing production of oil and gas, far from their promises of rolling back emissions

@timrichards As an extension of your requirement for a dedicated shower stall, I would also like a shower head that is mounted above head level.

I acknowledge that I’m taller than some people, but I’m not super tall. And the thing with water falling from a high-mounted shower head is that it will adequately spray shorter people as well as taller people, unlike water falling from a shower head inexplicably mounted at my neck level.

I think there are two types of people: those who say “I was treated like shit so you should be treated like shit too,” and those who say “I was treated like shit and I hope nobody else has to deal with the things I did.” And I think that tells you all you need to know about them.
