@johnnysilverhand well, actually makes sense in their ideology. in the 80s the US wanted space lasers to shoot down missiles[1]. jews are controlling the US and they built them in secret, so now there are space lasers with nothing to do. of course sometimes an operator gets bored and then fires start.

@steve my favourite is people who write long posts on Linked In about how our failure to act on climate change is due to 'environmentalists' and 'scientists' using the wrong language to describe climate change 20 years ago. I take this a little personally. Sure let's blame the people who were being paid almost nothing or volunteering to raise awareness on this issue 20 years ago. Not the fossil fuel companies or even (gulp) themselves for hearing the message and not taking action.

@steve oh, this is so accurate it hurts. Imho this is the Earthโ€™s biggest problem, we are experiencing global confirmation bias pandemic combined with masses so afraid of being wrong that they totally stoped thinking retrospective. Its almost like we lost the ability to use feedback loops as an important tool to learning

@steve Industries probably have already gamed out the points when they will ask for governments to buy their fossil assets/investments out with public money to "save the world"... And before that point they will drill every drop they can...

Although looking at their market caps, buying out all the western oil companies wouldn't even be that expensive. (~$2 Trillion).
