Just learned that one of the best New Testament scholars/ethicists of our time, Richard B Hays, has just passed away.

His works, including his magnum opus The Moral Vision of the New Testament, has inspired so many Christians and students alike. His last, the Widening of God’s Mercy, remains thought-provoking as always.

May he now rest in peace - and in the arms of the merciful Lord to whom he has been so faithful
