Great news everyone! Yesterday I signed a contract to buy a new car! The contract I signed yesterday will be written tomorrow. The pen I signed it with will be made next Tuesday and ink arrives in July. The dealer and I have agreed on most of the details, except for the price, make, model, and color.

The MacOS version of Cantus Studio is out now too!

@viticci tried deleting and reinstalling the shortcut and the support folder. No luck. Keeps giving me this 700 picture failure.
@viticci not sure what’s going on here with #AppleFrames

My browser extension StopTheMadness Pro stops autoplaying videos and hides Sign in with Google on all sites. It also hides sticky videos and notification requests on many sites.

For more extreme measures, try my Safari extension StopTheScript. It kills JavaScript dead on websites you select. For example, from the blog post, it makes The Guardian readable.

Seeing discussions of WWE on ESPN SportsCenter is a bizarre experience

When you don't know how to write code, vibe-coding feels like D&D spell-casting:

I say a few carefully selected words and an effect emerges that is actually useful.

I'm practicing it every day and reading ancient unintelligible tomes (API Documentation) to hope I can glean some useful verbal or somatic components and, day by day, I'm getting better at manipulating the alien, non-probabilistic force behind it all.

Damn.

And so, @atpfm consider this listener feedback and fair game for discussion on the show.
the funniest bit? I know understand all the developers i listen to in podcasts talk about the "edit, build, test, edit, ..." cycle and why a fast computer is nice. My M1 Mac Studio is killing it though. I'm flying through my "chat with Codex, build, test, correct Codex, build,..." cycle.
