Wanted to build a variation on this boost circuit but didn’t quite have time today. Had to settle for picking out the materials and saving them inside this paper pouch, made from a print of the schematic.

Snapshot from the home office.

It took me 3 months to buy all the parts, but I am finally ready to set up a #NAS for media streaming and storage; a crucial step in my #homelab journey.

I have never touched a #QNAP product before though, so setting it up and getting to know it will be fun.

Having always had a deep love of #citybuilder games, I knew eventually, I had to make one. But not a Sim City clone, I want to go the #rpg route and focus on a founding family’s legacy.

The graphic shown is just concept art, but the title is registered on Steam, the domain has a landing page, and a basic loop is outlined. I’m ready to consider engines, and get started on a proof of concept.

I am hoping to add a more #gamedev people to the project along the way. Stay tuned for future updates.

Even though it’s been years, I’m still low key obsessed with Conway’s Game of Life.

Flæskesvær; the Danish chicharrones.

I am a happy eater.

This morning, the #hummingbird feeder outside my kitchen window was frozen. I have a spare feeder just for this scenario, so I got it ready and hung it up. Within the first minute, I had my first customer. I caught this snapshot between long gulps of energy.

Meanwhile, the frozen feeder was brought in to thaw, so I can rotate it back when this one gets too cold. Gotta look out for my feathered friends.

The other #birds are getting dried mealworms, peanuts and seed cakes. 😊

Since it’s #sunday here is a snapshot of my #coffee brewing device of choice; a siphon. Sometimes I’ll mix it up with a pour-over, depending on the bean and my patience.

Specifically, pour-over brings out more bright notes and the coffee is generally a bit stronger compared to the siphon. The latter being a bit more balanced, but also brews a slightly weaker coffee with the same amount of beans.

When I bought this hammer, I had no idea it was pregnant.
Morning buddy: Howard Moon Lebowski, the #cat is recovering from receiving his required dose of morning attention.
