Ending the school year on a high note, by finally alphabetically organising the French fiction shelves.

Image: before and after comparison of a book shelf "Before" picture is messy and jumbled with shelves at different odd heights and all different books mixed in together. "After" picture is neat, symmetrical, and clearly marked with alphabetical section dividers.

That's a lot of Disney books. I'm happy with the #CollectionDevelopment of the library's #comics and #GraphicNovels so far, but it's still got a lot of growing to do.

Seasonal Reminder !

The #SalvationArmy is not a #charity. They are an evangelical protestant church that uses donations to oppose #LGBTQ rights.

Give them NOTHING.

I don't do advent calendars, but if I did, these ones I saw at Kmart have a little mini storybook for each day, instead of cheap disappointing chocolates

My only motivation for learning electronics would be so I can open up my fan and remove the stupid beeper that beeps whenever I touch the buttons.

It's a fan, it doesn't need to beep. OR have LED lights.

CW only because I like the ability to see subject headings of posts at a glance. It's the librarian in me 😅

If you followed me on bird site previously, you might know how excited I am about this manga series: I Think Our Son Is Gay, by Okura.

I found volume 3 in the bookshop, and I am so happy. Such a beautiful, wholesome, uplifting series. ❤️

If you like queer texts about good parents who love and accept their gay children, go and read this series.

Meanwhile I still have about ~50 picture books waiting to be covered, and a whole mess of books in drawers amd cupboards and behind and under the desk that need to be either catalogued or weeded

Not to mention end of year procedures, preparations for next year, and all the usual library jobs like shelving, shelf reading, and repairs.

Oh! And the flood of loans being returned at the end of the year.

I learned on Friday that the approx €4000 worth of books my school is purchasing from France will be delivered next year, not this term.

Thank goodness! There's only 2.5 weeks of school left for the year, I definitely don't have time to catalogue and process that many books before Christmas.

And I have something big to look forward to in Term 1 next year!

What do you call identical twins who are both asexual?

#mastodon while I love the lack of notifications compared to the bird app, I often forget to check this one. Sorry if I've missed anything!
