Ally, he/him. I love fixing computers, and assist with content creation for Geeks Actively Making Entertainment on YouTube. I dabble in Python and Javascript.

I know it's critically important and paramount to discuss the current events and be aware of them.

That said, can I get some #followrecommendations for positive and uplifting, light-hearted feeds? I'm feeling outrageously #depressed and on edge right now

We've officially hit that time of the year where every event seems like it should be further away than it actually is.
We should bring back chainmail as a fashion statement. It’s repairable, recycleable, sustainable clothing!
Hey @mullvadnet , I'm having trouble launching Steam through split tunnel. I'm on Linux Mint 22.1, no updates available. I have DAITA, Quantum Resistance, and Multihop enabled. Mullvad client version 2025.8. Any suggestions?
Is your kid ditching Roblox for "container orchestration"? Do they ask for extra veggies to "scale their energy pods"? You might have a future DevOps engineer on your hands! Signs your child is doing Linux and Kubernetes: they've already tried to `sudo rm -rf /` your smart home with unknown exploits and it is time to keep patched all your home devices. Good luck and god speed. I am praying for ya.
Hey @TechConnectify , I just moved to the Midwest (Indiana specifically) and BOY were you right: Menard's is better in every way!!

In case you're using Firefox on mobile - so myself and like four others - disabling Firefox' new Facebook data collection feature is quite a bit harder than on desktop, but it can be done:

  • Go to chrome://geckoview/content/config.xhtml
  • Use the search field to find the entry for aboutConfig and enable it
  • Go to about:config
  • Search for dom.private-attribution.submission.enabled and set it to false
  • Done. This only works on Android, because Firefox on iOS is just a Safari skin.

Note this is NOT capacity but generation in TWh vs years since generating 100 TWh.

    Great visual by RMI.
