Jek Tono Porkins would be the Tony Soprano of space. Fiercely loyal if you were in his corner, but would fuck you up if you crossed him or disrespected him. Go ahead, tell me you wouldn’t watch this. Go ahead
So yeah, so glad I voted for this guy, it’s great. Thanks Joe, nothing but smooth sailing from here
This dog shits like a grown man

Quick back story: my dog passed away in September. I went through six months of the worst depression I’ve ever experienced. Entire weekends where I didn’t want to get out of bed.

After a lot of self reflection, time in a support group, and talking it over with my therapist, I decided I was ready for a new puppy. My new guy came home this weekend, his name is Oliver, and he’s fantastic.

I haven’t felt this good in years. I’m tired- he doesn’t sleep through the night yet- but so good.

People of Mastodon, please put your hands together and give a big welcome to my new puppy Oliver, aka Ollie, aka The Green Arrow, aka Oliver Newton-John ❤️ #PuppiesOfTheDon
If you’re still COVID-cautious and finding that you don’t have many opportunities to hang out with people, this is a thing that happens every Saturday night. I did it last week and wound up having a lot of fun
y’all think this is a joke? You don’t know who you’re dealing with

The media smear campaign against remote work is WILD. Now they’re trying to blame the “death of office romances” on remote working.

This shit sounds so desperate. Like, “Hey employees, if you keep working from home you’ll never get to bang that cute admin in the Finance department! Come back to the office so you can get your fuck on!”

BREAKING NEWS: people on the NextDoor app are still feral

This is the two year anniversary of the power grid failure in Texas.

Four days with no electricity, heat, or communication, during the coldest temps the state had seen in many years. Maybe it doesn’t sound like much, but it effected me profoundly. It was deadly quiet the entire time, and to this day I start to panic when it’s too quiet.

I left Texas for a lot of reasons, but this was probably the biggest one. The state completely abandoned us.
