Friends, please stop linking to Spotify like it’s ok.

The company steadily siphoned money from independent artists, then spent millions to host Joe Rogan, then littered their library with AI music, and now the CEO is investing in AI weapons.

There are plenty of less damaging ways to listen to music and podcasts.

Yes, I should have gone to bed an hour ago, but the second best time to go to bed is now. Which I also will not do

Thinking about how "Alice: Madness Returns" is one of my favorite games ever but the PC port on Steam is buggy as fuck and EA drove American McGee to despair over the past decade by refusing to either relinquish the rights to the series or allow him to make a sequel even if he crowdfunded it himself.
It’s not really my thing but, hey… “Good morning” to everyone that celebrates it.

when i got my first job at ubisoft, i categorically refused to stay for overtime. i would always ask if i would get overtime pay, and every time my team lead would have to explain that it didnt work like that. i still wouldn’t do it. the old guard fucking hated me and i was eventually fired. i regret nothing.
i'm quite impressed how many completely free software tools there are for making stuff, and how people have actually adopted them

like, on newgrounds and other parts of the web, krita and opentoonz are the defacto art and animation programs and have almost entirely replaced photoshop and animate/flash

then there's godot, which is ludicrously popular for making webgames and is slowly catching on in the commercial games industry

then we have kdenlive, which has been used to make large professional looking projects

and of course, FUCKING BLENDER, which is basically the industry standard for 3d modelling and animation at this point
