Happy New Year!
Happy Solstice, whichever one you're celebrating!
Yesterday, my first web story for #NOAA's Heritage Program went live. It's about NOAA's first undersea lab, the #HYDROLAB. I hope you all find it interesting!
https://www.noaa.gov/heritage/stories/how-noaas-first-undersea-lab-helped-scientists-study-corals
How NOAA’s first undersea lab helped scientists study corals

In the early days of undersea research at NOAA, scientists needed to surface regularly when SCUBA diving to study coral reefs and other habitats. This slowed down their progress, making it difficult to conduct longer studies. All that changed with the introduction of the HYDROLAB.

The Heritage team at NOAA opened the 18th showing of our Treasures of NOAA's Ark exhibit last night! If you're in the Atlanta, GA area, stop by and see it at the Tellus Science Museum, now through 10/29/23! This was definitely the best work trip I've ever taken!
November is Native American Heritage Month and today is Native American Heritage Day. I know people will be busy with shopping for deals today, but it might be nice to take a moment and think about the people who were living in America when the Europeans showed up. We are on their land and we should remember that.
It's a Thanksgiving feast for the vultures outside my house. Sad for the squirrel, but I guess that's the circle of life.
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!
Happy #MonDog! Here is what mine usually do while I'm working from home.

#FirstPageFriday: Here's the first page of a #screenplay I just started. A Gothic horror/lesbian romance that channels Frankenstein with a twist, as told by Guillermo del Toro.

Trying to make it #accessible by including a link to a doc on Google Drive in the image alt text.
