@thelinuxcast hey Matt! I'm having some thoughts about switching to Debian for a bit. But, I would like to use my existing LUKS encrypted BTRFS filesystem, and use my existing home subvolume. Doubt the standard GUI installer can handle all of that.
Which brings me to debootstrap - basically installing Debian "the Arch way". Was wondering if you've ever tried this and/or would consider doing a video?

@thelinuxcast I hate that I'm gonna have to run Windows on my desktop pc but I cannot for the life of me get ANY game to be remotely playable on Linux whatsoever, no matter the distro, version of proton, it just doesn't matter.
It's thankfully not my daily driver, I only use it for gaming

@josh hey Josh. Please excuse me if this sounds like a strange request because we don't really know each other. I know you have been a big advocate of GrapheneOS, as have I. However there's some things I need to get off of my chest, that for reasons, I don't want to say on a public forum such as this. Plus, I do get the impression you're a reasonable dude. Is there a forum we could talk privately regarding GrapheneOS?

@josh welp, I think I may have unfortunately reached the end of the line with your setup. My fake admin google account just got the "unusual activity" message of death, and wants to send me a SMS verification code. It's over 😥

I may have to go back to the traditional setup, or else I'll need to set up a brand new fake Google account

@josh followup: I performed your setup. Sadly I cannot disable SMS or Phone on the main profile but I can simply turn on do not disturb. Everything works great so far except I forgot to back up my contacts... Yikes.
