@josh hi Josh. I have seen your videos, and I have been doing some backups to my Nextcloud to make preparations for a factory reset of my Pixel 7 Pro on GrapheneOS. My goal is to set it up like you did. With an admin account for installing apps only, with a fake Gmail account using Play Store routed over Orbit, then other sub profiles for daily use.

One small thing I overlooked though is that I personally do use my carrier phone number, and I will need to receive calls and SMS.

Is there a way I can completely disable calls and SMS on the main admin profile, but still get it on the others? Or put another way, if I were to allow calls and SMS on that admin profile, but just put on for example do not disturb, what sort of security or privacy implications would that introduce if any?

EDIT: Just now thought of this... Could I simply disable the default Graphene Phone and Messages apps on the main?

@josh followup: I performed your setup. Sadly I cannot disable SMS or Phone on the main profile but I can simply turn on do not disturb. Everything works great so far except I forgot to back up my contacts... Yikes.
@taimaninuehararin Like you found out, you can't disable those. What you could do besides do not disturb, is in the owner profile disable “Send notification to current user”. That's what I do, so I'm not bothered by app update notifications and such in my daily profile. Then I just go every so often to owner and see what's going on there. I hope you managed to salvage your contacts!
