Reclaimed a wooden desk my roommates gave me that was simply covered in madness.

Decided afterwards to clean the glass cloche and get that price sticker off it. Here's some better photos of the Schatz Standard No.49 400-day Anniversary Clock I got a few months ago.

All that's left is to rebuild the suspension spring and calibrate it.

Guess I will post my efforts here as well.

Just got done doing a thing in FFXIV. Awhile back a friend was using one of the game ripped models of the Kingdom Key. I didn't like it so I offered to make them a better model. Well that model or more specifically the 2nd iteration of it was fugly.

Time passes and I learned new techniques since then. So I got to work remaking the mod.

Final results are excellent

I'm slowly getting used to using our broiler mode. Pay no mind to the foil cacophony. That's just my jury-rigged broiler pan since we don't have one.

You know I think one of my favorite random hobbies is just owning this silly old clock. I rescued it years ago from Goodwill and spent so much time calibrating it. For something over 100+ years old. I am amazed by how well it runs when I do remember to wind it. Pictures of the movement outside of the case..

I will say it is likely due for a new main spring one dat.

Still need help identifying this old movement.
