@rodneylives I'm doing alright with it. The hardest parts are: watching my mom age, still having to work for a living, and knowing that 60 and 70 are in my not-so-distant future.

@clavdivs Coincidentally (?), I met GHWB after a debate during the '88 campaign. 1988 is also the first year I smoked cigarettes (at age 16). I have a distinct memory of seeing a reflection of myself smoking (and being disgusted at the image) one of the times I snuck out of the '88 national republican convention, where my dad was an alternate delegate.
I was not smoking BUSH FOR PRESIDENT cigarettes, however.
