Hello, just posting about hobbies mostly, currently enjoying speedrunning (yes the beat games fast thing) and programming. ENG/ESP, interested in learning japanese (doing it very slowly)

Interested in anything related to videogames, programming, anime and music, so expect that kind of stuff randomly.

😎

I feel like we are the peak or AI humor right now since in the upcoming years it will start to make too much sense and the bizarre statements they make nowadays will just stop happening.

I hope I'm wrong tho.

Bro after watching 30 minutes it already started feeling repetitive, and if the AI actually gets good at making jokes without nonsense then it will be just a generic sitcom.

This AI infinite Seinfeld is pretty funny but this interview with the creators seems to show that they miss the mark completely as to why people like it...? It definitely does not replace normal tv shows lmao, and Seinfeld happens to be good show for this kind of thing.

"As generative media gets better, we have this notion that at any point, you're gonna be able to turn on the future equivalent of Netflix and watch a show perpetually, nonstop as much as you want."

‘Nothing, Forever’ Is An Endless ‘Seinfeld’ Episode Generated by AI

A never-ending sitcom where characters speak to each other using GPT-3.

We did it! *wipes tear from eye*
When your AI/code works too well ...
TIL: There is a cursed color in the Kodak ProPhoto RGB color space which, when converted to sRGB using pre-August-2020-Security-Update Android's image conversion routines, causes an integer overflow and a crash due to a rounding error. Some dude accidentally created an image (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gaurav_agrawal/48746079687/) which contains the cursed color on a single pixel. In 2020 if you set this image as your desktop on a Google or Samsung device, the device would brick & lose all onboard data https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXKvwPjCGnY

The students in my upper-level electrodynamics course are taking their final exam right now, which always reminds me of the time I told my students they could bring a formula sheet to the final exam as long as it was on one side of a piece of paper.
