@overcastfm actually just updated to 18.2.1 and looks like it’s working now, not sure if it was the reboot or a bug on Apple’s end that the patch fixed.
@overcastfm hey Marco! Noticed something weird on iOS 18.2 - when I’m playing a podcast using the iPhone speaker, playback pauses when the phone locks and dims or I switch apps. I’ve tried force quitting Overcast, and other apps, and uninstalled/reinstalled. The scrubber still shows up on the Lock Screen, and playback will continue when the Lock Screen is “active”. It still play with headphones and CarPlay when locked. Happy to send logs if you’d like!

I'm cashing in a few Prusameters for a very good cause.

Tune in to @joeltelling's holiday livestream on Dec 10th for a chance to win this Prusa MK4S Kit.

The event is chock-full of filament, printers, & other #3Dprinting goodies! All proceeds benefit Seattle Children's Hospital ❤️

Michigan friends! If you have an absentee ballot, it is now TOO LATE to return it by mail!

Instead, take it to an official ballot drop box - or better yet, an early voting site, where you can feed it directly into a tabulator!

Michigan secretary of state: Don't put absentee ballots in the mail later than Tuesday

Michiganders: Early voting for the November Elections begins for most jurisdictions SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26th excluding Detroit (Oct 19), Canton Township and East Lansing (Oct 21).

Early voting ends on the Sunday before an election, so NO in-person voting on Monday, November 4, you'll have to wait until election day on Tuesday, November 5.

I’ve gotten used to quote-posts on here via Ivory, and frankly, it should be standard across Mastodon.

I totally get the argument against it, and maybe it could be *turned off* by users for specific posts, but ultimately think it’s a useful feature for reporters like myself.
