Finally got around to adding Bluesky to my blog...
and then blogged about it.

Built on 11ty, supports Likes, Reposts, and Replies (with basic threading). Lots of implementations out there, but mine grabs once per build, not every page load on the client. 🚀

Hey friends, my calendar opens up in Q1 2025. If you have contract opportunities in #WebDev, keep me in mind!

I’m pretty flexible—solo dev handling an entire project to staff aug w/ an internal team. Bonus points for #UIDev, #WebAnimation, and #DesignSystems!

Glaze - What is Glaze

I want to make an effort to attend (and maybe speak at?) web dev conferences in 2025, but feel like I'm way more tuned into those in the UK - State of the Browser, FFConf, Beyond Tellerand, WDC, Pixel Pioneers, Frontend North, etc.

Looking for suggestions for general web dev, maybe frontend-leaning, conferences in North America. Usually not all that interested in framework-specific ones.

Just because, here's a photo of a cool waterfall we found while on vacation in Georgia a few weeks ago.

Renewing my open invitation, any former colleagues (or anyone, really) looking for a new role and would like to chat. Hit me up!

Sometimes just having someone there to listen for a bit does a world of good, especially someone that's been there before. I'm also in technology-centric spaces where design/dev/ops opportunities are posted fairly regularly, so I can help keep an eye out for you.

I know first hand how transformative it is to have that kind of support and want to pay it forward.

So I'm making an "intro to web development as a career" course for O'Reilly, and I want to get some quotes of real folks working in web development to sprinkle in the slides. If you'd like to be featured/help me out/share your story with newcomers to this field, I'd be so happy if you'd fill out this wee form: https://forms.gle/qW3wNvvHeZ2cqGB5A

I now have one extra in-person ticket for State of the Browser happening this Saturday in London.

First person to reply that they're available and can be there in person, gets it!
