Oliver Schöndorfer is a renowned typography expert and freelance UI & app designer from Austria. He is obsessed with everything type, feels physical pain when spotting bad kerning, and even had to switched banks, because he could not stand an updated logotype. His vision is to make digital projects more successful and beautiful through type. To share his knowledge, Oliver hosts the popular YouTube channel Pimp my Type, runs the weekly Font Friday Newsletter, writes articles, speaks at conferences and podcast. His energetic, unique style sets Oliver apart, while motivating thousands of designers and developers to leverage the power of typography. When Oliver is not thinking about letters, he practices Yoga daily, enjoys hiking with his wife Birgit, takes care of their three girls, and manually grinds coffee to keep it all going.

Sara Joy | State of the Browser

Sara has been extremely online since 1998, making her own personal websites since 1999. She fell off the wagon some time around 2010, until getting back on it in 2021 to switch her career from electronic engineering to front end web development. She loves the web platform, and wants it to be accessible to everyone.

Scott (he/him) is a designer, developer and author focused on building early stage products backed by mindful and ethical design practices. He wrote a book called Mindful Design and honestly will not shut the fuck up about it.

Manuel is a freelance frontend developer, accessibility auditor, teacher, author, and consultant who’s passionate about the web. He writes about accessibility, HTML, and CSS on his personal blog matuzo.at and on htmhell.dev.

Josh Tumath | State of the Browser

Josh is a front-end developer living in Salford who loves CSS. He has been a developer of the BBC’s Web Design System for over five years, from its beginning when he was feeling a bit lost to today where he is helping over 20 teams and supporting hundreds of components and experiences. He also represents the BBC at the CSS Working Group at the W3C, which he joined in the summer of 2024. He is a massive extrovert and loves meeting new people! Please say hello!

Andreas is an industry veteran (Apple, Nokia) who has been working on browsers since 2005. He's the creator and lead developer of the Ladybird browser, and serves as president of the nonprofit driving its development.
