De là, quand, en 1945, lors de la prise de Berlin, l'Armée Rouge a trouvé ces fichiers, elle les a elle-même aussitôt transporté à Moscou. Leur contenu sur l'orientation politique étaient tellement précis qu'ils ont permis au KGB de recruter facilement des agents de renseignement en France.

Le ministre de l'intérieur a confirmé ce matin que les mégas fichiers du « Traitement d'antécédents judiciaires » (TAJ) et du « Fichier des personnes recherchées » (FPR) ont bien été compromis et que des données ont été volées. La Quadrature du Net s'alarme d'une catastrophe annoncée depuis la création de ces fichiers et dénonce les conséquences dangereuses que pose l'existence d'un tel système disproportionné de surveillance. ⬇️

A while ago I posted about the legendary #Duralex glasses from France, and how the workers, facing possible bankruptcy, decided to turn it into a cooperative rather than accept being sold to investors that wanted to fire a third of the people. Well. They grew their revenue by 22% and plan to break even in 2027. They crowdfunded emergency funding, planned to be €5M which they had to stop when €20M was pledged within 48 hours. YES!

Last week in a seminar we discussed a text that was largely about sexual violence, including mass rape during war. Heavy stuff.

One student admitted they had not read the text but worked off a ChatGPT summary.

They had no idea the text was about sexual violence. ChatGPT withheld that information.

This wasn’t just a minor error nor a typical LLM hallucination.

About a third of the text, arguably its most important part, went completely ignored because it didn’t match OpenAI’s content policies
