@00BW @nixCraft yes, and emacs is only a text editor. This principle can be stretched as needed and other times ignored as needed. Systemd is no different. It solves a class of interrelated problems.

@ScandinavianHacking @nixCraft I struggle with my NIC and Wi-Fi adapters, too. They crash regularly, causing a network outage. At least I was able to cobble together a script using systemd to automatically detect the outage and restart the driver :)

@parismarx people underestimate the spy apparatus of the USA and it's reliance on public cloud, social media, and related services. This is KIC to their abilities and they will fight to ensure they can continue to spy on everyone and control them through these networks and services.
