@nixCraft the stupid hardware. My wifi card is a bastard, my old Nvidia GPU is full of gremlins and my motherboard is full of bloatware.
Gods please, I'll do my nerd penance in the terminal all day but give me a laptop that is open all the way down.

@ScandinavianHacking @nixCraft I struggle with my NIC and Wi-Fi adapters, too. They crash regularly, causing a network outage. At least I was able to cobble together a script using systemd to automatically detect the outage and restart the driver :)
