I'm very happy I was given this opportunity to contribute a chapter; I could try a new approach in exploring a topic I'm passionate about (representation in / sustainability of online cultural databases, including commons-based platforms). Here's some data I collected: https://osf.io/gm3a6/ and an awkward screenshot of the illustration (looks a bit different in the book). Wikimedia doesn't do all that bad in representing digital art compared to other platforms.

Thanks to the kind support and encouragement of @aaaannet I occasionally get to dabble in academic writing. Here's a fresh book to which I contributed a chapter! Documentation as Art:

(In terms of structure, the #Wikipedia article sounds pretty OK, except from the last paragraph where there's too much praise / puffery.)

OK, then I asked the bot to add footnotes. All link to nonexistent or wrong pages.

Curious though, what will happen when the algorithm will actually start including content from functional online searches...

I thought, let's try this hyped new https://chat.openai.com/ #openai thing, if it will help us write Wikipedia articles. I asked it to write a #Wikipedia article about a notable Dutch female contemporary #artist who doesn't have any Wikipedia articles yet. The generated article is 100% incorrect. It really gets everything wrong.

Ooh, this didn't take long. It's already starting to feel like Twitter here: the first military dude looking for a nice woman (with account handle ending in a string of numbers) is following me! Yay ladies, rejoice, we are desired.
