The Green MPs and Peers have written to Keir Starmer to urge for an end to the UK's involvement in the US and Israel's illegal war.

Under international law, the UK is obliged to have no involvement in illegal military action, including the use of UK bases and UK-made weapons.

The Government has questions to answer.
a neat @Vivaldi trick has been revealed to me by @brucelawson. If you ctrl-click on a URL in the address bar, it removes everything after the bit you clicked on. So if the URL reads www.whitecouncil.edi/wizards/us/chicago/harry-dresden and you ctrl-click on "wizards", it removes the parts after that, leaving you with www.whitecouncil.edi/wizards. This is very useful! I edit the URL about twenty times a day. Not the most discoverable trick, but a good one.

The whole "AI" industry is just based on the hope that they can deskill people fast enough that they'll have to rent back cognitive support systems. Forever.

It's like Uber. Just that they don't try to break existing transportation infrastructures but your brain.

[EDIT: now sorted thank you SO MUCH!]

Heads up my dudes, my son needs to do work experience this summer and he's a programmer. Nearly 15, can do 3 decent languages, main in Java, been programming since 4. All he wants to do is be a developer. Anyone offer work experience these days? Two weeks in July. London or Dartford way or anywhere in between. Ta! Retoots appreciated!

I know that bad news is coming when a co-worker messages me with "You're gonna be so mad..."

Grammarly has rolled out an AI-powered "expert review" feature where its simulacrum of me makes suggestions for your text. My real edits are usually along the lines of "Throw this into the sea."

That'll do the trick.

Great video. Watch it!
