Australia’s chief racist is complaining about the $5 banknote featuring a First Nations person, and not the King. Doesn’t even bother hiding his racism any more. What’s the problem? The King can have his face on coin, banknotes can be for us. #auspol

Best of luck, Jamaica. Wish we could dump the monarchy here too.

Barbados beat us to it, but this week our prime minister made throwing off the colonial yoke a top priority. It won’t be easy, but watch this space, says Barbara Blake-Hannah, an anti-racist activist and a former TV broadcaster

What a “brave” statement by such an insipid politician- what a shame we can’t jail all those creeps responsible for robodebt.

All you have to do is be kind to others and care for others.

That’s it.

@dallas @Old_IT_geek @AaronDodd Labor took its ETS to the 07 election..They won a clear mandate with 83 seats. Now lets assume you are correct and it was terrible, it was still better than nothing. Further it was something the Greens could have fought to get tweaked later. The lack of respect for the mandate led to Abbott winning. Whilst Gillards ETS was likely better, it never had time to bed down and prove itself. The Greens need to learn the word Compromise and plan ahead ie. Get this passed and fight to improve it.
