Jessica@dallas @Old_IT_geek @AaronDodd Labor took its ETS to the 07 election..They won a clear mandate with 83 seats. Now lets assume you are correct and it was terrible, it was still better than nothing. Further it was something the Greens could have fought to get tweaked later. The lack of respect for the mandate led to Abbott winning. Whilst Gillards ETS was likely better, it never had time to bed down and prove itself. The Greens need to learn the word Compromise and plan ahead ie. Get this passed and fight to improve it.

It was Rudd who refused to even talk to the Greens. Compromise works both ways.
