Sharing stories, strategic problem solving, & searching for smiles β€” Nonprofit professional, nonvisual accessibility pusher, & she/they person. Not all the things β€” just Some.πŸ’™
Currently learning Python code β€” I’m a marketing and communications professional who is exploring opportunities for better processes and tools in this digital age of mailing lists, social media, and online communities. Plus Python is one of my son’s special interests so knowing it makes our conversations more fun. #Autism
@katbottner me too! What are you reading?
@munchkinbear Got it. We are monitoring and adjusting the audio as needed. Thank you!
@kea_anderson @President @Riccobono @nationsblind I love that Casey talked about how we have all waited too long for change. The countless stories of young blind children not receiving Braille when they should (including my own son over a decade ago) and the work we do to change the system is a big part of what motivates me to be part of this movement. Plus knowing and working with people like you, Karen and President Riccobono. :) #NFB24 πŸ’™
@munchkinbear @kea_anderson I’m here! πŸ‘‹ Glad we were able to resolve it.
Starting the day off right with #LatinRhythms and joy on the stream for #NFB24 @nationsblind #Fun
@kea_anderson @AuroraNebulosa @nationsblind Thanks, Karen! Hi Misty, As mentioned, we are monitoring all social channels and regularly, but responses may not be immediate or they get buried in the many notifications. Your help to make it a meaningful and engaging social media experience is greatly appreciated. Thank you for being part of #NFB24 and for the feedback.
@munchkinbear @nationsblind Hey hey hey! Awesome β€” thank you! See you in Orlando.
I’m headed today to the @nationsblind National Convention in Orlando, FL β€” working behind the scenes on communications but also connecting directly with thousands of blind people to continue amplifying our stories. #NFB24 πŸ’™
We had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Stevie Wonder at the national Federation of the Blind Jernigan Institute today after his being awarded an honorary doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. Coolest part was playing him on our new PowerShowDown table.
