That's bad. Not because we should all be foolish to their abuse. But because it denies us our own humanity; that we are all susceptible to poisonous ideas.

This problem they have, ~it's not a corruption of dark magic, it's a corruption of white magic~. They think they're heroes, they think they're helping. They think they're good. It is their lack of humility that denies them self-reflection.

Something all humans need.

@georgetakei I love they all got offended he didn't want to debate the self proclaimed fascist. It speaks to the core of our current crisis.

What conservatives fail to understand is once a person truly starts believing they have the God Given Right™️ to kill, torture, disappear, rape, etc. anyone who doesn't agree with them there is no basis for debate. Debate relies on basic tenets of morality such as the obviously arduous one of 'thou shalt not kill'. There is no debate in a [functional] society: life has value. If your opponent doesn't believe this, there is no point in debating because all claims will boil down to defending the right of humans to live. Someone so morally bankrupt is not going to suddenly realize life has value. They. Don't. Care.

Biblical Jesus did not debate the value of a life. He valued all life. He helped anyone who needed it, no matter how repulsed society was of any individual or group. But I guess CHRISTians are just ians now since Christ is too woke. Forget taking Christ out of Christmas, they have gone to the heart of it and ripped it out themselves.

The funny thing is that they just say things and then they expect you to just go along with what they say. And if you challenge them they just double down but provide no facts at all. I am dealing with such a conversation over on Fakebook right now. It's a joke really...
