sleepy.bike is an online space for a community of bicycle touring travellers and those who want to host them.

It is built by current and former contributors to other hospitality exchange platforms. From WarmShowers.bike, by TR and WTMG, we just keep going.

Thanks to Solid protocol, users own their data and store it in a location of their choice. This brings back balance of power between the platform and the community members.

As @ohn, we hope to federate with Trustroots, BeWelcome and others.

@mariha will be presenting @sleepybike (a bird's eye view at the project) at the next Solid World on Tuesday (https://solidproject.org/events). It will be a 10min presentation alongside other Solid-based social good projects.

She'll try to explain, i.a., how #SolidProject addresses the issues of social network ownership experienced by #WarmShowers and very recently #Trustroots hospitality exchange communities.
