It is now known as SolidCouch / tired.bike and is part of https://theODI.org ecosystem.

@mariha made https://OneWomanLess.github.io and is out of the business.

@mariha will be presenting @sleepybike (a bird's eye view at the project) at the next Solid World on Tuesday (https://solidproject.org/events). It will be a 10min presentation alongside other Solid-based social good projects.

She'll try to explain, i.a., how #SolidProject addresses the issues of social network ownership experienced by #WarmShowers and very recently #Trustroots hospitality exchange communities.

sleepy.bike is an online space for a community of bicycle touring travellers and those who want to host them.

It is decentralised to avoid similar scenario as the one that happened to WarmShowers.org when it went rouge. It is build by former WS contributors, those who published WarmShowers.bike message.

Thanks to Solid protocol, users own their data and store them in a location of their choice. This brings back balance of power between the platform and the community members.
