@szpon @rower stating what may be the obvious, but are you in the #warmshowers site? Good luck, good travels
Hey #WarmShowers fans: Is there an official #swag shop? Not that I need merch, but while #BikePacking, it would be nice to have a t-shirt to advertise "hey check this cool community out".

Dear #NewZealand Friends of #WarmShowers or #cycling in general: Would anyone have a place for sleeps for tomorrow nearby #Tekapo or #Pukaki? Boost mucho appreciated.

@ascentale @bikenite #bikenite A8 had a #warmshowers guest stay for two nights on his way around Aus., dodging rain and a little exploration around town myself

@AnnaAnthro
I'm glad to hear him promoting #WarmShowers, which is an excellent hosting service for long-distance cyclists. Still, crossing Canada in the late fall is unlikely to stay pleasant.
I want to meet some more bicycle folks in my area, and am in a position to host with #warmshowers or similar. I kind of want to only host touring cyclists for now just to see how it goes. Does anyone have experience doing this or recommend any similar platforms? Cheers 🚲 😊 🚲

On my last trip I discovered https://welcometomygarden.org and I *love* the vibe of that community.

DAY 7 - Cycling south UK. After a wonderful night's sleep and a nice breakfast (toast with home made marmalade!) I started my journey to Exeter. Warmshower host Richard accompanied me all the 26km, +330m to Exeter on his e-bike. The road to Dawlish included a very intense climb, but after that it was an easy flat ride along the estuary. This was the first and only rainy day of my trip and I was happy with the company. Once arrived in the city I first went to look for tea and a scone at the cozy café 'Sunday's' in the harbour. After that I visited the Custom House with an exhibition about Exeter and did a tour in the center. The Royal Albert Memorial Museum, with a whole section about Devon geology, was well worth it and I had another tea at gift shop 'Hyde and Seek' where I also bought my 'One Line A Day' diary. Exeter has an interesting history about Medieval drinking water distribution, but unfortunately there wasn't a guided tour to the Underground Passages (https://www.visitexeter.com/things-to-do/exeters-underground-passages-p134013) today. Around 7pm I went to the house of my Warmshowers host Steve. My host was a real globetrotter and great photographer, so we talked about his travels to India, the USA, and Europe and shared our musical taste.
