@isthereanydeal Great for archives, great for culture, great for archivists
Classic shooters Unreal and Unreal Tournament are now free and preserved on the Internet Archive

Epic Games has given the OK for their 1998 shooter Unreal to be hosted on the Internet Archive, eseentially making it free.

@hilljam What's good on the Waterfront ?

@hilljam Jazz Bones , The Spanish Ballroom , the garden at the Antique Sandwich Shop, and I think a vague memory of a Jason Webley show are what I know and love about Tacoma

#Tacoma

After living here in Dxwdwabs and Muckleshoot territory for four years now, if I could do it all over again, I would probably live in the Central District. There are more families and more need for art, more regular music nights, more black and Latino folks than Northlake, people seem happier more normal around there.

@djwudi I thought it was fine

I think a lot of people I know who didn't like it didn't see it in the theater , which was part of the dumb fun

I certainly didn't go in expecting anything good and the non-romantic ending between friends was actually nice

The weird assertion that Mastodon is somehow different than other announcement tools or community organizing channels and you must +only+ post content here you wouldn't post anywhere else is exactly why I dropped off for a while

By that logic, I don't have time to make 'original content' four times in one day when the end result is to tell people that there is a concert, poetry reading, or a gathering of artists in the Pacific Northwest

Has this attitude changed since the or is it still alive?

@Gigawatt121 there used to be especially in my 221 class but I don't know anymore... That was a long time ago now when my photo professor assigned us the first digital slr cameras as kind of necessity for class, not out of preference... They were a student toy back then
