@marcoarment 100% of the time I’ve clicked on an add in Overcast has been a mistake. It’s scummy, dirty, dark UI. If a large percentage of your click through is accidental and would go away if you moved the ad to the top, then you’re no better than the pop up ads on websites that pop under your mouse when you click. If you want clicks, show good ads. I’ve clicked AND bought stuff from Tapestry ads because they feature relevant ads that are unobtrusive. Sorry to be harsh but this is the one and only thing I hate about Overcast. It’s an amazing app and by far the best podcast player but the ad placement is just crap. I’m going to leave the OP but I’m going to apologize. I’m sorry I’m just frustrated by advertising and how it’s the only way people can make money online.
@merlinwisdom @hotdogsladies just heard the recent @RecDiffs where you mentioned wanting someone to make a mastodon bot about the wisdom project. Not sure if you knew about this one. It’s been going for a while.
Is it me or does #liquidglass not actually look like glass? It looks like a rendering error. #osx Aqua buttons looked more glass-like than this new design. They need to bump the 3d slider up a couple of notches. @atpfm
@ttscoff same thing happened to me. A simple reboot of the phone fixed it
