meanwhile... just donated £411.19 (ie all the non print/postage money raised) to Alzheimer's Research UK - with many thanks to all the contributors and backers of the Madeleine zine (pretty much out now bar a few copies left for any late late non-deliveries)

heard a rumour yesterday and just seen it confirmed. Dr Haze of The Circus of Horrors has left us to kick up some hell wherever good people with demonic humour end up.
More than a client Haze, was a friend and a hero in this house. Very sad

MADELEINE is done and dusted!
Kickstarter funds landed in my bank yesterday, so I just spent an hour in the lovely local post office sending all the parcels to backers bar 4 I need addresses for and a small number of friends and locals I will be hand delivering ASAP.

Comics is a multi-faceted form, that is unusual among the arts for often getting split and compartmentalised – not for reasons of aesthetics or specialist skills, but for industrial pragmatism.
Even so, there is craft and art in the process and this is cool
