NHS England is planning to stop doctors prescribing puberty blockers to trans children and youth – a de facto national ban on PBs for under-18s, except for a handful of long-term research participants and those whose parents are willing and able to pursue private options (a “loophole” which I expect will then be closed off in due course)

Shame on West Midlands Police for doubling down on this debacle. It's one thing for misguided officers to conduct an unjustified stop, another for the force to stand by it. Discouraging people cycling while simultaneously sowing distrust in the police. Well done(!)

Cyclist and granddaughter, 8, stopped for helmet "safety" advice by police who "sounded their sirens" and pulled pair over "because it's dangerous"

When asked for comment the officers' police force doubled down on their actions, insisting "road safety is a priority for us and we will always look to educate road users on how they can keep safe"

Duolingo will no longer update its Welsh course from the end of Oct 2023, with no further development. This petition is to call for the First Minister to personally intervene with Luis von Ahn, the CEO of Duolingo, with the aim of saving the Welsh course.
