Today is the 50th anniversary of the Skylab "strike." Astronauts protested micromanagement, employer spying, & long hours. They demanded a day off, regular breaks, and greater workplace autonomy. Radios off, they floated around, enjoying space, and taking photos of Earth. #NASA gave in to their demands after one day.

Remember when cheap, Chinese knock-off consoles were the weird things you saw in markets that were far more likely to catch on fire than provide a decent gaming experience?

Well, erm, that seems to be no longer necessarily the case.

This is the #MiyooMiniPlus, a Chinese #Linux powered handheld that runs #RetroArch to emulate up to PS1 era games.

And it is so well done! The unit feels sturdy, the emulation is mostly solid and the screen is brilliant!

Fettercairn 12 Year Old

Nose: Sweet honey-like notes with a very small hint of clove or spice.

Taste: Less sweet than the nose suggests. Was expecting an overwhelming sweetness, but instead got muted marshmallow. A bit more spice than expected, but it's very balanced. No smoke or peat.

A delicious whisky that doesn't want to be the center of attention, but could get you into trouble with how drinkable it is. I'll be keeping my eyes open for a full-sized bottle.
