@ricky_enger I laid my palm upon the surface and communed with the pie goddess to determine she was enthusiastic and not angry. Not eating it until today.
Frank has removed his pie from the oven, having determined that it was “bubbling enthusiastically” as the recipe instructs.

The One Court, a tactile tablet for feeling sports game action, is now available to pre-order. Instead of having to use it at a stadium during a game, you can use it at home. Even more surprising, it's only $500 before the pre-order discount. There is a subscription of $30/month.

I care nothing at all about sports and have no interest in this product. However, I'm delighted that people who want one can finally have their own.

It's almost like they never heard of Screen Recognition. I'm separating the idea of being able to identify unlabeled onscreen items from the ability to act on them. The former is basically Screen Recognition, which has been available for VoiceOver awhile now..

@technocounselor Pretty sure you figured this out, but “quality" refers to screen quality/resolution, so it seemed safe to me to buy one of the cheaper models, since screen things matter little to me.
@technocounselor I don’t believe it matters what model you choose. There seem to be three quality bands with LG. I picked a low end one from Costco.
@technocounselor I love my LG TV. The accessibility is very good both in terms of speech and for my purposes, high contrast text. I’ve also gotten around the smart features by not signing any of the user agreements for the smart features . I just plugged the Apple TV in and moved on. You won’t be able to use AirPlay directly with the TV itself but you can through Apple TV.

I’m cautiously optimistic about accessibility fixes in the Plex streaming app. Submenus read correctly, and the Shuffle button is no longer labeled Sleep. More. If I find it.
